Close to the village of Doolin in Co Clare is the pier where the ferry embarks for the Aran islands. You can see the Cliffs of Moher in the distance and it’s a fabulous spot to walk along the rock ledges and watch the enormous waves rolling in from the atlantic.

This print is part of my “Wild Atlantic Way” art print series, a vibrant and contemporary collection of open edition prints inspired by the many signature landmarks along Ireland’s west coast. The Wild Atlantic Way stretches 2600 kms (1600 miles) and is one of the longest defined coastal routes in the world.
